Diff/Compare view as popup instead of new window or tab

OS: macOS Big Sur v11.5.1 (20G80)

Version: PhpStorm 2021.2 Build #PS-212.4746.100

Since the new version mostly every compare screen is opening as a fullscreen window, when project window is in fullscreenmode.
Earlier it was a popup, which was better then this fullscreen windows.

The are only 2 options:
- Show diff in seperate window (which opens a new fullscreen window)
- Show diff in editor tab

Any possibility to change the behaviour back to popup?
