Tools > Start SSH Session is missing
I am trying to start an SSH session in PyCharm professional through the "Tools" menu but the "Start SSH Session" option is missing.
I have also gone to Help > Find Action to search for this option but nothing comes up.
I also went to Settings > Main Menu > Tools > + > Add Action, then search for it there but also nothing.
I am able to configure SSH sessions at File > Settings > Tools > SSH Configurations. But then I can't do anything with it except for test the connection.
Am I missing something here?

Hi, could you please test if the issue is resolved by resetting IDE preferences to default by using **File | Manage IDE settings | Restore Default Settings...**. Your current settings will be backed up, so you can revert to them later (to do this, just import settings from the backed up folder).
If this doesn't help, could you please provide Logs from **Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data**.

Restoring to default settings has fixed the issue. Thanks for your help!
This also fixes the issue for me, but leaves me a ton of other issues because my workspaces are now gone, and restoring that implies losing the ssh functionality.
Is there are solution to not loss hours of configuration?
Michael Bakker1986 Yes, you can try as follows:
1. Export your settings to the file. Choose only the settings you need from the list.
2. Restore default settings, make sure the issue is resolved.
3. Import the settings from file.
Hopefully this will not import the issue back as well.
Mine has disappeared but Restore Default Settings... won't bring it back for me.

I have been through all the settings and can confirm there is no SSH option under settings > Tools
It does mention ssh when you click on settings/tools about specifying SSH Terminal connection settings but I can confirm even after running the restore settings I still have no SSH option under Tools in the left hand pane.
Is there an issue with this build?
