Webstorm won't start on Mac
I download the dmg file, open it, drag Webstorm to the applications folder, and then I open Webstorm from the applications folder but it won't start. It just appears on the right side of the dock, and nothing else happens. When I click on the Webstorm icon from the dock, the icon makes a jump and nothing else happens.

what OSX version is it? what is a result of starting the IDE from terminal (browse to the
/Applications/Webstorm.app/Contents/MacOS/webstormexecutable in Finder, in the context menu choose Open With, Terminal)? What is written to console?I'm having this issue as well. The Intel version with Rosetta was working perfectly fine, I got a notification to upgrade to M1 thought why not it should be faster, won't launch. Installed openjdk with brew same issue.
I resolved this issue by downloading 2021.2.3 from JetBrains website (I had 2.2).

I installed JetBrains Toolbox after that installed this version WebStrom
It fixed my issue
