CLion consumes ~2GB memory when not running anything.
Is it normal?

If you're concerned by the memory usage, you can can capture a memory snapshot and send it to us (https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com/) so we could take a look. Please take in mind that memory snapshots might contain source file names and some chunks of code (like string representations of constants or macros).
