Whey intelij tried to connect to some domains?
Hi all,
I downloaded community version (ideaIC-2021.3.exe) of Intelij and installed it with default setting.
When I execute the program (I didn't change any default setting), I noticed that the process keep connecting to few domains as follow (logs from Process Monitor):

By searching whois, the domains are belong to AWS and Google.
Does anyone know whey intelij tried to connect to those domains? What are the purpose of the connections?

There are a lot of connections to JetBrains servers made for several purposes, including checking for updates both for the IDE (connections to www.jetbrains.com) and for installed plugins (connection to plugins.jetbrains.com), downloading newer versions and license checks.
Connections to Amazon/CloudFfront hosts could be made to check SSL certificates, download ML completion models, download shared indexes, etc.
