Remote development using Windows as a host?

The docs say that there's a requirement for the remote development host to run Linux:

Yet, on the landing page it says: "On any machine via SSH"

Windows 10+ can run OpenSSH server just fine.

Does that mean that I can run Rider IDE backend on Windows?

Is it supported? Any known issues? Is there a ticket I can track?
