Intellij is not updating

I'm stuck on Ultimate Edition 2021.3.2. When I click "Check for updates" I see a loading bar but then it never tells me anything. I have an active subscription until 2023. This is on MacOS Monterey 12.3.1

Hi Oliverwilliams345 Could you restart the IDE, click on Check for Updates and collect the IDE logs? (Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data)

The files can be uploaded at https://uploads.jetbrains.com (do not forget to specify the UploadID)

Does the other networking functionality work in IDE? E.g. Settings/Preferences | Plugins | Marketplace.

Does it make any difference if you disable Android plugin and restart the IDE?

If the problem remains please add the following entries:

com.intellij.util.io.HttpRequests
#com.intellij.util.io.HttpRequests
com.intellij.util.proxy.CommonProxy
#com.intellij.util.proxy.CommonProxy

to Help | Diagnostic Tools | Debug Log Settings..., restart the IDE, reproduce the problem and upload newly generated logs.
