intelli J

So I just format my PC and Installed the newest version of Intellij community edition. For some reason the start up looks different and it is not what I am used to. I have amazon Corretto SDK and it shows that it is the active SDK in path and directories etc. my problem is when I create new project I cannot write a code. I don't know what I am doing wrong, I can open and edit old codes but cannot create new one. On right side it shows the project title and everything but the space where we write code shows me option to open file, search everything etc. Can someone please guide me on how to properly install it so I can start learning JAVA again. Please and Thank you!
