I'm using asdf but I couldn't configure the variables. can someone who also uses asdf help me?

A JDK is supposed to be bundled with PhpStorm. Could you please clarify how exactly you've installed the IDE? Is it the tar.gz distribution, Snapcraft, or a different package manager?
I installed it by pamac (manjaro package manager)
We only support Snapcraft as a Linux package manager.
You can either use it or download the tar.gz, PhpStorm is capable of managing its own updates: https://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/download/

It's weird, Intellij is working fine if I run dirrectly "/opt/intellij-idea-ultimate-edition/bin/idea.sh
