My ideas perfomance has suddenly slowed down

As mentioned in the title the performance has slowed down. when opening it takes excess of 30 seconds and when a project gets run it takes 1m to do the first task in gradlew. this is a sudden change from the last few months as it used to take 30 seconds to complete the compile and fully load the program
