Pycharm will not update within Pycharm
When I start Pycharm (current version 2021.3) and choose look for updates (newest 2022.2) and one is found, I will download the update, but it never installs and Pycharm will not restart. If I want to update, I have to pull the latest version from the website and overwrite my current installation.

It affects 2022.1.2 and all versions prior. If you manually install the latest version, the following updates should work without issues. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
