Anyone else had their settings get nuked by Settings Sync?

Recently upgraded to the most recent version of all JB products. I use IntelliJ for the majority of my work, with some CLion for Rust dev. I have these IDEs installed on both work and home machines and using my personal account for both.

When I upgraded CLion, I noticed my settings were set to factory defaults. I tried bumping by disabling and then enabling Settings Sync in Prefs, and choosing to DL settings from my JB account, but this didn't fix the problem. Ultimately, I fixed things by picking a machine & an IDE that had my settings correctly, doing the disable/enable trick & pushing the settings, then pulling them on the IDE that was busted.

This seemed to work fine, except today I logged in and my JB account settings were all factory resets, and attempting to recover them appears to have wiped even the machines/IDEs that were correct 😡
