Webstorm crashes Windows 10
One and then, more often now than before (a few days between), when working with the mouse in WebStorm 2019.3.5, selecting, copying or pasting text, things start go by their own. Suddenly text is selected, moved and pasted to another position in the javascript file, parts of text is deleted and a mess is created. I totally lose the control and co do nothing about what happens. The IDE closes, like all other open app windows. I can not use the mouse. The cursor is moving out of control. The only way to handle the case is the emergency shut down: firmly pressing the switch button for a while. Since this always seems to happen when in the Webstorm IDE it makes it the prime suspect, but the behaviour seems more like malware stuff to me. The windows version is Windows 10 Pro 21H2.

Does this issue occur with WebStorm only, or these strange mouse behavior can be observed in other editors as well? Are there any specific steps that lead to the issue?
I have only seen it in WebStorm, but since it occupies most of the editor time I can't exclude that it could happen with another editor. I will try to be more observant about the exact conditions when it will happen next time but today I can find no particular steps before placing the mouse cursor in the JS text in the editor. If it starts then or after beginning a drag I don't know yet. It all happens very quickly. Most days it does not occur. WIndows logs give no clue. The project I'm working with is large with multiple tabs open.
Can be related to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-241978/Double-click-in-the-editor-selects-something-else; please check if you can reproduce the issue in the latest IDE version

I tested a newer version before 2019.3.5 but it was far too unstable. Where can I get an installation file for 2019.3.5 so I can try uninstall install?
2019.3.5 can be downloaded from https://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/download/other.html; but I'm not sure why you expect the bugs to be fixed there, https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-241978/Double-click-in-the-editor-selects-something-else, for example, is fixed in 2020.3 so 2019.3.5 doesn't include any fixes. And the latest version is 2022.3
