Mac Azure Function Core Tools Path is unable to configure

I was following the microsoft docs to initialize a azure function project with java in IDEA. but when I try to run it I got this error. 

I install the tools with homebrew, I still got this error. even when I try to configure it manually:

as shown in the screenshot, none of the files can be selected, should I select another file? how could I startup the project?
