5 years later and pycharm still frequently fail to stop the python program, how come it can't it just terminate the process?

This is so frustrating, pressed ctrl y in rider to undo code and it deletes code, wtf?

Thank you for the clarification. I would never have came up with the idea to search for Close Active Editor, even if i had seen that one i would not associate it to closing the current tab i am on.

7 Years have passed and this bug still exist. Why is it not fixed? No i can't configure a global or project sql dialect because i use more than one. Visual studio can handle this, why is pycharm so...

I can't get this working. The only close active tab that exist is for active tool window, and that closes the project view. How do you set it up to close the active editor tab?
