For me it was also eslint causing high cpu load. 6.8.0 was a problem, 6.7.2 seems to be ok.

We had the same problem and could solve it with this: parserOptions: { ecmaVersion: 6, project: 'tsconfig.json', tsconfigRootDir: __dirname} tsconfigRootDir: __dirname does the trick

I'm already pressing command-option-u as stated in my post above. It's not showing the full hierarchy. For example it shows Interface A in the diagram, but not Interface B that is extended by A.

Yes, they reside in different directories. Yes, the SVN and GIT were registered in the settings. I thought these are the general setting, and not project specific. Thanks for the hint, solved :)
