It looks like language injection. If all your hrefs contain valid xml, just use "Inject language" intention.Anyway, feel free to file a request for auto-recognition of XML fragments inside attribut...

I would recommend 2 or 4 cores. Multithreading is used intensively in IDEA.Fast HDD is a must have, too.

If you have xmlns declaration in your document, invoke "Manually Setup External Resource" quick fix on it. It will be registered at Project Settings -> Resources.
