Block cursor indicates Insert mode. You can toggle it with Insert key.Another possible reason is Block caret option enabled:

What path do you use for the terminal? c:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe works fine for me.

In 2021.2 the limit is configurable in Settings (Preferences on macOS) | Advanced Settings | Maximum number of results to show in Find In Path/Show Usages preview.

Works for me: Make sure you have module classpath specified in the Run configuration as shown on the screenshot. Also try Build | Rebuild Project.
