The issue was resolved via support. Missing path mapping configuration was the case.(http://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/webhelp/deployment-mappings-tab.html).

There is a feature to move lines up/down (Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down), but it's not possible to move selection/words with keyboard.
