One tip: I would recommend to not transfer the third party plugins you are using from 7 to 8. There are a lot of incompatible plugins that prevent IDEA from working correctly.couldn't JB fix this b...

the error is due to some plugin doing some additional highlighting in editordoes it happen while editing certain files? this could help nail down the problem..
