For me, downloading artifacts got significantly faster in the latest builds - thanks. I even notice the difference in speed using Nexus. Would it be possible to download multiple artifacts at once ...

AFAIK the caching and thus quick load of projects happens after the project has been loaded at least once in the current IDEA instancefurther suggestions:- disable virusscanner on project directory...
