I cannot reproduce it. I've created a sample project with one model created by scaffold + factory_girl gem and debugger works ok.rails 3.1.1factory_girl 2.3.2factory_girl_rails 1.4.0rspec 2.8.0

Seems the problem is not in RubyMine installation, but in your mysql2 gem. At least stacktrace doesn't related to RubyMine. Please check that you can launch app using console (with RubyMine).

Please track http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/RUBY-9161 issue. At the moment we are focused on other issues and priority of rbenv support isnt high.

Hi Jusin,"Spork" is a gem/technology provided by Ruby community, RubyMine just allows to use it when automatically configures run confiugrations for tests. RubyMine doesn't force you to use or not ...
