All inspections can be disabled right from the any produced warning: put cursor inside highlighted text. Press Alt+Enter, than Cursor Left. Select "Edit.."

Nothing prevents you from copy-pasting the suppression marker right after it was inserted by IDE. You just should avoid doing that.The idea is that you should use suppression really conservatively....

Shared means that it will be stored in project meta info and thus visible by all team members, and non-shared will be stored in workspace file and is visible for its owner only.
