Hello. PyCharm does not contact hardware directly since it is user-mode application and it does not use any Windows API to manage screens. I suggest to check your event logs for errors.

Hello. PyCharm reports whole stacktrace which includes test runner itself. There is no way to disable it, you can create feature request: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com
