It's supposed that IDEA would create very module inter-dependencies. If it doesn't that is probably because of pom configuration. Could you please send simple pom structure that reproduces that?

It seems that there's misunderstanding.I meant that maven tree shows all project that user imported. That is, if you asked Idea to import projects A and B, it would show project A and B - no more, ...

How did you get this message?I mean that did you do? Open local history dialog? On what?

The problem is, most likely, that local history was corrupted. The possible reason is previous forced shutdown. Did something like that take place?
