What is the project layout and configuration?I've just tried to import some projects with standard layout src/main/java/...src/test/java/...and it have been imported just fine, with 'source folder'...

Can you provide example POM file, please? I can not make IDEA to import test classes and resources as separate content roots.

I'm afraid there is no way to represent maven's 'resource' concept in IDEA exactly.Does this issue causes real problem?

No, it was not planned for 7.0.But you may create new jira request and we probably include it in next idea version
