The method close() is inherited from java.io.OutputStream - so does your IDEA project have a JDK configured? (you can check this in File | Project Structure | Project)

Does your project live in a network-mounted directory?Do you have any symlinks in a full path to your project?

Do you have a fsnotifier and fsnotifier64 files in a bin/ directory?Does it make any difference if you stop IDEA, move these files someweher (or rename them) and start IDEA?

The most recent version is at https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-community/blob/master/bin/mac/fsnotifier.It's same as on Windows, but it means a #-closed list of directories which fsnotifier is...

Hi Mark,unfortunately "declare parent" statements (like one in MenuItemRepository_Roo_Mongo_Repository.aj) are not yet supported. Please vote/watch IDEA-59138.

Stefan,that's the problem with recent version of Compiz WM. Unfortunately we haven't found a workaround yet. Please watch IDEA-110048 for progress.

Sorry, but IDEA doesn't have built-in support for Ivy.Most probably you are using some third-party plugin (IvyIDEA perhaps?) so you'd better ask it's developers.
