I've replied to you on twitter, but I think I should also post it here to make information available for everyone.To run RubyMine on Java 7, you can change /Applications/RubyMine.app/Contents/Info....

Currently Quick install gem doesn't add gem to the Gemfile. You can simply add line with gem required to the Gemfile and RubyMine will suggest to run 'bundle install' automatically.
