that worked for me. in PHP storm I had to goto Settings --> CodeStyle --> Typescript --> Punctuation [Tab] --> Use [Single] quotes in [New Code]

I got it. You just do "Move Right" instead of Vertical Split. Not sure if this was built in or a splitter plugin, but I got it working so I am good to go!
