Moving the SpellCheckPlugin directory out of the plugins directory did the trick.Any chance the spell checker will be working soon?

I too have this problem. Intellij seems to re-parse jdk libs over and over again. Note my Intellij is not crashing, hanging or doing unclean restarts. I can see rebuilding the cache after a crash. ...

I found the error. One of the nested panels was set to the FormLayout.
