Second attempt with 92.81 - again lockups, I had to force quit again.  Reverting to 92.65 for now and await the next EAP.Peter

I updated to 92.91 and Apple Java for OS X 10.6 Update 1 and worked with this setup all day without problems. I do not know which of the updates fixed it - keep my fingers crossed.Peter

You would specify the output folder in your custom flex compile xml:<flex-config>    ....    <output>relative-or-absolute-path/MyApp.swf</output></flex-config>Peter
