The windows bug is fixed, but I'm not sure I see the value in using existing orion configs...why would you do this in IDEA, if you can just go to command line and run java -jar orion.jar to use exi...

Unfortunately orion 2.x doesn't support JSR45, so no jsp debugging there. The next major version (3.0) will hopefully have support for that and the orion plugin will be updated accordingly.

Yeah same argument could have been applied to jsp 1.1 and 1.2, yet the jsp syntax is better supported, I think.

It lets you deploy webapps and apps to orion without having to edit any xml files in Orion. You just point the plugin at an orion instance and it'll take care of deployment for you.
