Are you running WebStorm in a VM?  That's probably why.  Download and run it natively on your Mac.

Check your path mapping, make sure the .js file is specified to match a server path with a local one. Be careful to match the domain name portion of the URL exactly, that was a gotcha I found.

I also sent one, I really should have taken a shot of jEdit instead though, otherwise they may try to shift the blame to JetBrains.The Mac front end for AirDisplay is 10x nicer than the Windows one...
