Hi Roland - using the Gradle bootRun works great - thank you. My only problem now is that I don't see any console output in the debug console, just the gradle output, so I don't see any application...

Yaroslav - I'm running the latest Intellij Ultimate, build IU-172.4574.11. I'll see if I can duplicate in a simple project.
