I use jboss-4.2.2.GA and hotswap via remote debug works fine. Maybe take a cpu dump and report a bug.

I saw an issue on youtrack about that a few days ago - basically Jetbrains wanted to make "Whats New window" to which plugins could contribute, but the issue seems hidden to public now...
