Thanks for the reply, I see what the problem is. I do think though that IDEA could explain the problem/situation more clearly than "All files are up to date".

I'm also curious why the IDEA 6 behaviour was changed, where it would find the CVS roots automatically?

I can login fine via NNTP-over-SSL once I accepted the new certificate, but no new messages are showing up. I had to come to the website forum to see this thread and post.
