OK, it came back. I had to reboot my box (upgrades..) and only restarted my RubyMine sessions and Firefox sessions (restore..).I started up a debug session and then noticed that the blank box was b...

The link you gave is old.If the developer explicitly clicks on the red square to end the server (and the debug session), why not make sure that the server does die. If for some reason or conditions...

The Ruby rails webserver occasionally does not quit when the red square is clicked.In those cases:ps ax | grep rvmkill -9 <pid of output of above line>This works if you are running rvm..

I tried jstack, but the result was blank. I read a bit of the jstack doc and tried the -F flag. I did get some output as provided earlier in this discussion.
