Sorry, my bad. I forgot that earlier in the test I made a mock for the function I wanted to "step into". So obviously it shouldn't be debugged.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did as recommended in this post and added file jasmine.d.ts to my project from here and it seems to be ok now with the compiler.

When I opened the PHPUnit settings in PHPStorm 10 and re-pointed the phar file, now it's ok (perhaps this setting was not imported automatically from version 7). So the problem only appears in PHPS...
