Just as another note I have downgraded to 6.0.1 again as when I was closing projects it seems to hang when disconnecting processes.

Looks like my fix did not work after reboot all slow again even on 6.0.1. When it was quick the fsnotifier was running at 90 - 95% processor util. Back slow again and its maxing out at 10-20%. Wish...

Many thanks, sort of glad I am not alone. Was struggling to describe the issue well enough to get good hits from google.
