xcodeproj.  This got me looking in the AppCode GUI, found the console, and in there i found a clue (still does not explain why this works in Xcode) ... hmmm :/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Develo...

thanks for that. dont want to turf my ongoing projects by 'unfortunate' event. Keep up the great work, you cant imagine how much I had made silent prayers for IntelliJ to come up with an alternativ...

Hey Anton, does the dmg 'squash' my current version, or can i have (temporarily) both the EAP 1.6 and 1.5.6 running ?

Yes, that does eliminate this warning. Unfortunately I now lose the useful 'unused local variable' warning.

Hey David ... true , but count your blessings :) ... Xcode 4.1.1 reindexes every time you refactor something ! And this is how i stumbled across AppCode, out of sheer frustration with the other env...

same here. Also, changing 'anything' in a build configuration has AppCode spin forever at about 80% CPU on my MBP.
