I think I found the cause: perm space exhausted.The clue is in the log at:- PSPermGen total 133120K, used 133120K [0x00007f3f3fe50000, 0x00007f3f48050000, 0x00007f3f48050000) object space 13...

G-R-E-A-T, glad I misunderstood that one ;) and that is even a better scheme then my rusty mind remembers, no more downloading of keys...With even more stamina I will continue evangelising IntelliJ...
