i enabled the secret scala compiler logging option in some xml file and got the error message that "reset" is an unknown option. i looked at my compiler settings -> there is was, the evil checkbox....

i suspected the plugin to be the culprit because the code compiles, but when running it, it seems like another version of the class is used (which doesn't have the method)

could it be that the scala plugin compiles against a random build of scala instead of 2.8-beta? would explain these errors

actually i think i already have kind of indirectly enabled this feature backwards...i'm using different colors and fontsettings for local variables, method calls and so on. if the plguin can resolv...

any chance the debugger will be able to evaluate expressions like "myList.count(_.countMe)"? will it be able to create instances of closures on the fly?

you can switch of "automatically insert non-ambigous imports" or what it's called to fix it. i encountered this problem a month ago already
