for me the error is unfixable. restart -> hightlighting broken withing seconds.

to make a concrete suggestion:let the user choose which parameters should be "extracted" by clicking on some checkboxes right below wherer you enter the methods name, defaulting to none

it's the app server's problem. i don't know the reason, but redeploying my tomcat (even when the app is small) sooner or later leads to "out of perm space"
