Andre can you elaborate on how you got it to work. I have a similar problem and I don't find anything useful

I found out what i was doing wrong, i forgot following line in my plugin.xml file<depends>com.intellij.modules.lang</depends>

Yes it is bundled with the PyCharm IDE
