Isn't better use some small non-java file editor with code highlighting (like notepad++) for quick changes? Any non-java small text editor loads much quickly than PhpStorm.

I experienced the same issue in 98.240 but I have symlinked directory in my project. Win7 x32, CSV. After File->Synchronize new files in symlinked directory were found by phpstorm.

Maybe it isn't monospaced but you ticked "Show only monospaced" in select font dialog?

As workaround you can open clientname folder.
