Could be, if you're looking for file with known name in the recent files list (which is not a right place). if you know a file name, it's straightforward to invoke "go to" action. Recent files list...

don't know why, but idea folks ignore this issue for many years. this is a real ass pain, especially in maven, and requested many times.

probably you have to clear entries in .IntelliJIdea10\system\vcs. but i didn't test it, so make backup first.regards, Alex

obviously, in this case old local code knows nothing about newly commited file. can't figure out how it could be useful.
