You can resize this window by clicking and dragging the corner of it. I was able to resize it this way: Please try to resize yours.

No, unfortunately it's not possible. You can describe this in details and submit it to our tracking system here: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI#newissue=yes.

Try to open PhpStorm > File > Settings > Directories. Project structure folder should be listed there (showing .idea folder location). If it's not there try to recreate a project.

Thanks for the information. PhpStorm is java-based app so x-neural switcher's hotkeys seems to be having higher priority over java apps.
