Felix, VCS > Sync Settings > Overwrite local. Then restart PhpStorm to check if it worked.

Hello John, Unfortunately "sync" command is not available outside of PhpStorm. Only commands listed in the article are available. Thanks, Dmitry.

Please report it at http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI#newissue=yes with steps to reproduce the issue. It would be great if you could record a screencast of it and attach to the report.

Yes, it also works if I just doubleclick the value > enter new value > Enter. So yeah, please try out latest EAP build.
