File | Settings | Editor | Font - remove "Enable font ligatures" checkbox. If that's a library file - disable the Reader mode by clicking on a notification, you should've seen it:

Hi all, got 2 news for you. 1) the UI option for "Allow merging buttons on dialogs" is hidden in registry now. It's called "ide.allow.merge.buttons". Registry can be opened via Help > Find Action....

We're currently investigating this issue at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-247244 - feel free to share your logs & there. As I can see there's no workaround available currently.
