Sad, but true: There is no next big thing in the near future.So it is more important than ever to fix/implement all those hundreds of 'micro features' you mentioned.IMHO that's the only way to stay...

Thanks a lot!Stupid me. I fought so hard to remove shortcuts like Alt-F1 and Ctrl-Alt-L from Ubuntu that I didn't thought to look at IDEA keymap anymore.Also I wouldn't have expected any difference...
